The Socialist Party of Moldova said that the country should not break ties with the CIS when joining the EU

March 7 – BLiTZ. Olga Cebotari, a member of the PSRM’s executive committee, said that Moldova should not sever all ties with the CIS countries as part of its integration into the European Union. It is reported by TASS.

“Moldova should not give up the benefits of cooperation within the CIS that already exist,” Cebotari said.

She noted that representatives of the CIS and the European Union should sit down at the negotiating table and develop mechanisms for the work of integration associations, while maintaining their advantages for the benefit of citizens.

Cebotari also reminded that today there are 285 international agreements that Moldova has signed within the framework of the CIS.
