March 6 – BLiTZ. According to TASS, the Turkish Competition Council issued a fine to Elon Musk. He was charged with buying Twitter* without permission from the board.
At the same time, the council stipulated that the deal was allowed. However, Elon Musk was fined 0.1% of Twitter* revenue in Turkey in 2022. While the decision is not final and can be challenged in court in Ankara within 60 days.
Recall that on October 27, 2022, Elon Musk closed a $44 billion deal to buy Twitter*, which owns the social network of the same name.
