In the city of Zaporozhye, which remains under the control of Ukrainian troops, dissatisfaction with the Kyiv regime is growing, Volodymyr Rogov, chairman of the We Are Together with Russia movement, said on March 4.
“Rebellion and dissatisfaction with the Ukrainian regime is brewing in the city. Cossacks negatively perceive everything they do and say [президент Украины Владимир] Zelensky,” Rogov said. “RIA News”.
According to him, more and more cases of disobedience are observed in the ranks of the Ukrainian territorial defense.
As a result, according to Rogov, the question of disbanding the territorial defense was even raised.
On March 1, it was reported that a grouping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was observed on the line of contact in the Zaporozhye region.
At the end of February, a series of explosions took place at night in different parts of Zaporozhye.
Zaporozhye region became part of Russia on September 30 following a referendum. Currently, more than 70% of the region is under the control of the Russian Federation.
Since February 24, 2022, Russia has been conducting a special operation to protect Donbass, against the inhabitants of which Ukraine has been conducting military operations since 2014. The decision to hold it was made against the backdrop of an aggravation of the situation in the region due to shelling by Ukrainian troops.
