March 2 – BLiTZ. It was recently reported that an anti-Russian declaration was adopted in Moldova, stating that “since February 2014, the Russian Federation has been waging an illegal, unprovoked and unjustified war of aggression against Ukraine.” The document was adopted by the ruling party of the country.

Moldovan President Sandu made an appeal to prevent a new war in Transnistria March 2, 2023 at 14:54

The Moldovan opposition was shocked by this document. Local oppositionists do not agree with this declaration and call for neutrality so as not to involve Moldova in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. In addition, they believe that such rhetoric 30 years ago became the cause of the war in Transnistria.

“The authorities have taken the path of deepening the social split, provoking ethnic hatred, whipping up militant hysteria, an atmosphere of fear,” say representatives of the opposition parliamentary Bloc of Communists and Socialists (BCS).
