A ball with a diameter of about 1.5 m was found in a cave near the coastline on the island of Tokunoshima, Kagoshima Prefecture, in Japan. MBC March 1.
According to the channel, the ball was discovered on February 28, but experts examined it only the day before. Local police officers confirmed that the object was hollow and there was no threat of an explosion.
The surface of the ball is almost completely covered with rust. In the center of the ball there is a soldering line, on one of the sides there are arcs similar in shape to loops. When tapped, a sound was heard, which is obtained when knocking on a hollow metal object, noted in MBC.
Experts from the local administration interviewed by the TV channel suggested that the found ball could be similar to the one that was discovered last month on the coast in Shizuoka Prefecture.
Earlier, on February 21, a metal ball of unknown origin was also found on the coast of the city of Hamamatsu in the Japanese prefecture of Shizuoka. The ball was 1.5 m in diameter and had a smooth beige surface with brown spots, presumably from rust. On both sides there were protrusions with holes.
Over the past month, various spherical objects of unknown purpose have been discovered in different parts of the world. So, on February 10, the US military spotted a balloon in the airspace over Alaska, after which it was shot down. The object was tracked for 24 hours and shot down on the US border with Canada – over the northeastern part of Alaska.
After that, the following day, the Canadian and US forces shot down an aerial target over the Yukon Territory in the northwest of the country. The soldiers removed the wreckage of the device for further study. The unidentified object was shot down on the orders of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
On the night of February 3, a huge balloon, presumably Chinese, was seen in the sky over the States. Later, the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, said that the US military, on behalf of President Joe Biden, shot down a balloon that fell into American airspace.
