The number of residents of Donetsk who suffered as a result of the shelling of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kirovsky district of the city has increased to seven. This was announced on Tuesday, February 28, on the Telegram channel of the representative office of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC).
According to updated information, a man born in 1994 was injured on Petrovsky Street.
Earlier that day, the Headquarters of the Territorial Defense of the DPR reported six wounded from the shelling of Donetsk by artillery of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Men born in 1964, 1974, 1978 and 1974 were injured on Petrovsky Street. Another young man born in 2004 and a girl born in 2002 were injured on a road bridge in the same area.
Also, a girl born in 2008 died from the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Information about this was reported in the Headquarters of the Territorial Defense of the DPR.
On February 28, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled the Kirovsky district of Donetsk with 155 mm NATO caliber shells. The footage that Izvestia has at its disposal shows how one of the shells hit the apartment of a residential building and destroyed the ceiling and walls, and the windows were shattered by a shock wave in the entrance.
Later, the representative office of the DPR at the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes in Kiev (JCCC) reported that Ukrainian militants at 16:50 Moscow time again attacked the Kirovsky and Petrovsky districts of Donetsk, firing three rockets at the city from a multiple launch rocket system fire (MLRS).
Ukrainian militants shell Donetsk almost every day. So, on February 27, more than 40 shells were fired at the city in three hours.
