Israeli settlers blocked roads and train stations in protest against the legality of the judicial amendments that Benjamin Netanyahu’s government is trying to approve, while the Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir al-Mathjan, promised the police to intervene. to open closed roads.

And Israeli media pointed out that “the demonstrators were injured by a stun grenade thrown at me, while I was in front of the police at the Hashalom junction in Tel Aviv.”

On the other hand, Israeli media reported that “the police are no longer able to contain the demonstrators in Tel Aviv.”

According to Israeli media, regarding the organization of the demonstrations, “It is up to the police chief to shoot those responsible for throwing grenades and driving the demonstrators with horses.”

They added, “The occupation police are bankrupt, and today they have turned into a political police,” and demanded that the police chief shoot those responsible for throwing grenades and chasing protesters with horses.

In the same context, violent confrontations broke out between demonstrators and police in the Ayalon area at the Peace intersection in Tel Aviv.

Ben Gvir said that “demonstrators who attack police forces should not be tolerated at all,” calling for “dealing with anarchists.”

On the other hand, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, commenting on the demonstrations, “We do not accept violence against the police, and the right to demonstrate does not mean the right to chaos.”

Netanyahu gave “full support to Minister of National Security Ben Gvir, the Inspector General of Police, and the agents who work against those who oppose the law and those who disrupt life.”

In turn, Israeli media expected the demonstrations to continue from 7:00 pm until midnight in front of the residence of the Prime Minister of the Israeli occupation government in Jerusalem.

For my part, Yair Lapid, the leader of the Israeli opposition in Kayan, warned in a letter to the police commissioner, “I am afraid of Ben Gvir’s political and dangerous attempts to ignite the region.”
