Satish Reddy said that India has achieved technological sovereignty in the production of missiles and has an impressive missile arsenal, which many states would like to have. He noted that the Indian missile program has come a long way, but thanks to the well-coordinated work of the military-industrial complex, the country no longer needs to purchase missile weapons from other countries.
The employee also spoke about the difficulties that the DRDO organization faced in creating its own production base for components of the domestic rocket industry after restrictions were imposed on it in the 80s of the last century. He believes that economic sanctions have helped India reduce dependence on imports and stimulated the development of military products and parts in-house.
