February 28 – BLiTZ. The United States predicted a protracted conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The negotiation process will be extremely difficult. Material about the expected outcome of the Ukrainian crisis published American edition of The Atlantic.

According to the former US Ambassador to Ukraine John Herbst, the conflict will end in 2023, subject to two conditions: if the West promptly supplies Kiev with weapons and equipment, and if the Armed Forces manage to take control of the bridge connecting Russia with Crimea. This is the only way to influence President Putin, Herbst said.

According to the representative of the Center for Naval Analysis Michael Kofman, the conflict has already grown into a protracted one, when compared with other interstate wars. Short-term conflicts tend to end within a few weeks or months. But the confrontation, which lasts more than a year, runs the risk of dragging on for many years, the analyst stressed.

The forecasting company Good Judgment, in turn, made a forecast according to which the war will end at the earliest in 2024, and at the latest in 2037. But on average, analysts called 2025.

Also, the experts involved in the publication unanimously stated that in order to achieve a lasting peace, it is necessary to resolve the fundamental issues that caused the conflict. Without this, the truce will be fragile, and the hot phase of confrontation can resume at any moment.

Russia has been conducting NWO in Ukraine since February 24.
