According to some reports, Leonid Roshal is in a critical condition – his colleagues are fighting for his life. Later it became known that the operation was planned. “He was scheduled to be hospitalized for a joint replacement. The operation went well,” the National Medical Chamber said.
It is noted that on April 27, Leonid Roshal will celebrate his 90th birthday. Now he is active, being the president of the National Medical Chamber, the head of the Research Institute of Emergency Children’s Surgery and Traumatology, as well as the co-chairman of the ONF.
Recall that on the eve of hospitalization, on February 25, Roshal was included in the EU sanctions list. This was a response to the work in the Popular Front, which, on the initiative of the doctor, launched the social campaign “Everything for victory!”. Within its framework, fundraising is carried out for the DPR and LPR.
“We wish you a speedy recovery. We know that he is being treated now, of course, this is our property – Roshal,” said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
