Until the end of this year, based on the results of the competition, a contracting organization will be determined, which will work together with Russian Railways OJSC. After selecting a contractor in 2023, the construction of adjacent streets will begin: Alabushevskaya, Mikhailovka, Aleksandrovka, Konstruktor Lukin and Proektiruemoy proezd No. 684.

The contractor will first have to prepare the territory and deploy the construction of a street and road network, followed by docking with the tunnel. Then they will take out engineering communications.

“The construction will improve the transport accessibility of the Silino and Kryukovo districts in Zelenograd, as well as Solnechnogorsk near Moscow,” said Rafik Zagrutdinov, head of the Moscow construction department.

Earlier, on November 22, the reconstruction of the Volokolamsk Highway was completed in Moscow. This is the most difficult transport hub in Moscow, to the Moscow Ring Road. The construction of the bridge across the Skhodnya will be the point in the whole large-scale reconstruction.

The bridge has five traffic lanes in each direction. According to Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the work carried out “will improve traffic in this direction, there will be fewer problems and traffic jams.”
