BBC ignores British Islamist extremism

1

In recent days the English cities of Leicester and Birmingham have witnessed scenes of inter-racial tensions targeting Hindus paralleling Sir Oswald Mosley’s fascist riots of the 1930’s which targeted Jews in London. Islamist, masked mobs screaming “Allah – hu – Akhbar” surrounded Hindu temples, their worshippers hiding in fear with police protection. Riots of such magnitude in multiracial cities should have attracted prime BBC news coverage followed up with interviews of Ministers, local politicians, civil and religious leaders and victims. Alas, the BBC maintained a contemptible silence.

A few months ago, gangs of Islamists on the streets of London and in organized car rallies coming into London chanted “Death to Jews” and the BBC decided such Hitlerite behavior from Muslim extremists was also not worthy of reporting.

These Muslim attacks on Hindus and Jews should have commanded significant coverage from the BBC but quite incredibly the BBC ignored the incidents and maintained silence.  Indeed, even on the BBC news teletext pages nothing was being reported – clearly an editorial position taken at the highest levels.

The reluctance to report on incidents where extremists from the British Muslim community are responsible has now become a national scandal and I call for ‘heads to roll’ at the BBC and a parliamentary debate.

These events noted above follow a series of abhorrent acts concerning pedophilia, rape and murder perpetrated over a period of years by UK based, Pakistani male Muslims on thousands of white children in several working-class English towns and cities. These nauseating atrocities had gone unreported by the BBC even though the crimes were known to have been a continuous theme, practice and cultural strategy in places as Keighley, Blackburn, Rochdale, Telford, Rotherham and Oxford over a fifteen-year period.

The deafening silence of local councilors, politicians, the police, social workers, Islamic religious leaders and the BBC is beyond shame. Their silence was assent. So how can such barbarity within the UK by an identifiable demographic go without national media publicity, reporting and investigation?

Global Islamic extremism too gets a free pass from the BBC’s news agenda. The BBC have never reported on the atrocities committed by Islamists in the Sahel region of Africa on the non-Muslim, black indigenous populations. Islamists regularly slaughter hundreds, I repeat hundreds of Christians in Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso and these atrocities go unreported. The slaughter of Christians in Nigeria by Islamists is also ignored by the BBC.

Why does the BBC exclude reporting apartheid and slavery in Mauritania by brown Muslims on black Africans the Haratines or by Pakistani Muslims on their black African community, the Sheedis.

There are however certain global topics continuously featured with bias in tune with the agenda of the BBC’s news staff. The Israel Palestinian subject is a good example which for decades has promoted a pro-Palestinian narrative. Allow me to elaborate.

The BBC have never reported on the Palestinian Charters of 1968 and the Palestinian Hamas Charter of 1988 that both demand Jew extermination and subservience to Islam or death of all other races and religions. The 1988 Charter further endorses Nazi ideology in Articles, 17, 22 and 28 demanding the extermination of those working or fund raising for charities assisting terminally ill children, war veterans, the physically and mentally disabled and cancer victims and their families.  If the general public knew of these truths, I’m certain their views would not be as hostile to Israel as they currently seem to be. Perhaps the BBC have considered this too and therefore taken a decision never to expose nor question the Palestinian manifestos. This would be consistent with BBC prejudice as they have never published the findings of the 2004 Balen report which investigated bias within the BBC’s reporting of Israel. Too embarrassing for the BBC hierarchy, past and present to confront perhaps.

Thus, according to the BBC news editors, racial riots perpetrated by Muslims on Jews and Hindus are unworthy of reporting. Similarly, thousands of cases of child rape perpetrated by Pakistani Muslim men over a period of years in numerous UK cities and towns are in the view of BBC news editors also unworthy of reporting.

Globally, atrocities committed by Islamists on indigenous non-Muslim black Africans by are also not worth the BBC news team getting out of bed for. Neither is true slavery nor apartheid committed on blacks in Mauritania and Pakistan by Islamists.

The BBC however did find the necessary time and space to report every day for nearly six months the incident of a Palestinian woman who slapped an Israeli soldier several times and was jailed for her assault. Naturally the BBC taking the anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian human rights angle. I kid you not. The BBC barred me from their complaints procedures for continuing to question their logic for saturation reporting on what was a staged publicity stunt.

What a shame the BBC thought that the human rights of a lone Palestinian activist was worthy of such saturation reporting and the human rights of hundreds of English child rape victims were meaningless.  Am I alone or indeed wrong in demanding a clear out of the BBC news teams? Only the morally indecent would disagree with me surely?

It is not only the media however that share in the blame and again I reiterate that silence is assent.

Religious leaders have been very selective on what they deem important enough to comment on which exposes their own ignorance and prejudices. I include the UK Jewish religious and political leaders who should be more aware, focused and courageous. When a lone right-wing fanatic killed scores of Muslim worshippers in New Zealand, March 2019, the global mainstream media were outraged prompting days of attention. The BBC were at the forefront of global news reporting on this shocking incident. Outpourings of condolences from world leaders and the UN. The UK Jewish leaders rightly, publicly offered their condolences to the Muslim community in New Zealand.

During the same week twice that number of Christian worshippers were butchered by Islamists in Nigeria. No BBC coverage. No condolences from world leaders. I phoned the Jewish Board of Deputies leader asking why no similar expressions of grief were issued. As per the rest of the world silence was the order of the day. The slaughter of Christians by Islamists was unworthy of outrage, grief and reporting.  The hypocrisy is nauseating.

Desmond Tutu, the dead African Archbishop never condemned the treatment meted out by South African blacks on Zimbabweans or the inter-tribal Zulu – Xhosa violence that caused thousands of deaths during his lifetime. His silence relating to the genocide of Christians in Africa forever shames him. He was however continuously criticizing Jews and Israel. A true racist and coward similar to Obama who also maintained silence on the slaughter of Africans by Islamists but loved to offer sympathy to the Palestinians rooted in Nazism.

In the world of the BBC which influences politicians and religious leaders, certain lives have little value. These worthless lives are usually victims of Islamic extremism and our politicians and religious leaders and indeed the UN are happy to toe the BBC line.  Again, I repeat that their silence is assent.
