Pakistan High Commission shows extreme disrespect to Bangladesh

Pakistan High Commission in Bangladesh has come under heavy criticism for publishing a cover photo on its Facebook page, where the killers of 3 million Bengalis and violators of hundreds of thousands of females, during the 1971 war of independence of Bangladesh, on-purpose made a nefarious attempt of showing Bangladesh’s national flag being merged with that of Pakistan. Bangladesh foreign ministry already has expressed highest dismay over this incident and asked the Pakistan High Commission to immediately remove this photo, though until 4:00 am on July 24, Pakistanis did not remove it.

This outrageous incident took place days before the Bangladesh visit of Hina Rabbani Khar, Pakistan’s state minister for foreign affairs, who is scheduled to arrive in Bangladesh on July 28.

Although Bangladesh invited Pakistan’s foreign minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to attend the D8 Summit in Dhaka, Bilawal decided to send Hina instead of him.

It may be mentioned here that, in September 2012, Blitz published the news of secret romance between Bilawal Bhutto and Hina Rabbani Khar, which had become a breaking news in every news outlets in India and many other countries.

Recently, immediately after assuming the office of the state minister for foreign affairs, Hina Rabbani Khar, along with Pakistani politician Sherry Rehman have jointly exerted pressure on Pakistan authorities and succeeded in getting BLiTZ banned in the country.

  1. Bangladesh should never forget what these Pakistani yahoos did to the hapless men, women, and children. Bangladesh should demand compensation for the genocide, rape, killing and damage of the Bangladesh properties. Bangladesh should raise this legitimate demand in this D8 Summit.
