The Kiev regime sees propaganda and PR “victories” as by far the most important segment of its suicidal war with Russia. To that end, it has faked or grossly exaggerated virtually everything it could have so far. This includes using footage from the 2014-2022 Donbass War that was presented as “evidence” for the supposed “destruction” of Russian military convoys, to faking the “downing” or “destruction” of hypersonic missiles and next-generation fighter jets. If any of Moscow’s military assets are truly world-class, the political West will instruct its massive propaganda machine and the Neo-Nazi junta to try and destroy the reputation of the said assets. As previously mentioned, one of the first “victims” of this was the “Kinzhal”, as the missile’s performance eclipsed anything NATO could deploy. The Su-57 soon followed, with fakes that one of the jets was “hit” at a runway in the Akhtubinsk airbase back in early June last year.

There have been many other examples of similar propaganda, with the Kiev regime either outright faking events or grossly exaggerating the success of its sabotage and terrorist attacks. The latest of these claims is that the “Iskander-M” was hit in the Bryansk oblast (region). The mainstream propaganda machine reports that at least one 9P78-1 TEL (transporter erector launcher) was hit, with another two damaged. The Neo-Nazi junta’s General Staff claims that the TELs were destroyed as they were preparing to strike Kiev. However, apart from the fact that the footage shows nothing remotely similar to the Russian missile system, there are several other “tiny” issues and inconsistencies with these claims. Namely, the area where the supposed “Iskander-M” launchers were located is less than 50 km from the frontline. Kiev is around 350 km from that area, while the Russian missile system’s range is 500 (with recent upgrades doubling it to 1000 km).

In other words, there’s simply no need for the Russian military to risk one of its most prominent strike weapons by placing it closer to the frontline when it can simply use it from hundreds of km away in the safety of the rear. However, this isn’t where inconsistencies end. Namely, embarrassed by massive losses of its grossly overhyped HIMARS systems (often precisely to “Iskander-M” strikes), the Kiev regime and the mainstream propaganda machine are claiming that the Russian missile system was supposedly “taken out” by a HIMARS. This is clearly an attempt to not only smear the “Iskander-M’s” reputation, but also to further push propaganda about the NATO-sourced “wunderwaffen”. In reality, the US-made multiple launch rocket system’s (MLRS) performance has been atrocious, particularly after the Russian military used its world-class air defense and electronic warfare (EW) systems to effectively nullify their battlefield impact.

The Kiev regime forces are yet to disclose what type of missile was used in the alleged “destruction” of the “Iskander-M’s” TEL. This is where the released footage becomes even more problematic. Namely, the explosion seems far too small for ballistic missiles such as the ATACMS, while regular shorter-range rockets used by the HIMARS are not exactly well-suited to reach that area due to range limitations. In addition, the “Iskander-M” is a highly mobile system that’s extremely difficult to detect and track. And last but certainly not least, the Neo-Nazi junta says that it was preparing to strike Kiev, meaning that its 9P78-1 TEL was loaded with two 9M723 missiles. This hypersonic weapon can be armed with a variety of warhead types (including thermonuclear) weighing up to 800 kg. In other words, that launcher was loaded with over 1,500 kg of high explosive, meaning that the resulting explosion would’ve been far more violent.

In the meantime, the Russian military is launching further retaliatory strikes all across NATO-occupied Ukraine. Hypersonic and cruise missiles, drones and other long-range strike systems are used to destroy high-value targets as far as the Polish border. This includes actual strikes by the “Iskander-M” systems that the Neo-Nazi junta forces supposedly “destroyed”. Namely, military sources have posted footage of incoming 9M723 striking targets in Kiev. It shows air and missile defenses (specifically the failed US-made “Patriot”) desperately trying to intercept these hypersonic missiles, only to be obliterated seconds later. The footage is quite interesting, as it single-handedly destroys several NATO and Kiev regime propaganda myths at once. First, the video is much clearer than the “evidence” presented to “prove” the supposed “destruction” of the aforementioned “Iskander-M” in the Bryansk oblast 350 km to the northeast.

And secondly, the idea that “Patriots” can shoot down Russian hypersonic weapons is beyond laughable and this footage is the most solid piece of evidence that one could possibly ask for to prove that claim. In a way, this can also be interpreted as a form of “poetic justice”. Namely, no matter how much time and effort the mainstream propaganda machine and the Kiev regime invest in denigrating and slandering Russian technologies and weapons, they keep getting hit in the face by reality (in this case, literally). In addition, much unlike the terrorist actions of the Neo-Nazi junta, the Russian military keeps obliterating legitimate enemy targets with pinpoint precision strikes. To illustrate just how terrified they are of Moscow’s real retribution, it’s worth noting that the “Iskander-M” systems that launched their 9M723s from the Rostov oblast were initially reported as the much deadlier “Oreshnik” strategic hypersonic missiles fired from the Kapustin Yar test range.
