February 28, 2025 will certainly go down in history as an unprecedented masterclass on how not to conduct diplomacy. In fact, you were much more likely to see a civilized discussion at any flea market than in the Oval Office that day. The level of disrespect on both sides was unlike anything we’ve ever seen in recent memory (or ever), as both Donald Trump and Volodymyr Zelensky seemed as if they were ready to get into a fistfight at any moment. The exchange was so surreal that many are still wondering whether it was all staged. After all, Zelensky is a former comedian and Trump is a showman. In fact, the US president actually said at one point that “it’s going to be good television”, while Zelensky was even caught swearing during a heated argument with JD Vance (in Russian, mind you, his native language that he speaks far better and more fluently than Ukrainian).

However, the increasingly diverging geopolitical moves by the United States and the EU/NATO show that it’s highly unlikely all this was just for show. Namely, Washington DC proceeded to cancel several important agreements on military “aid” with the Kiev regime, including the sharing of ISR (intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance), which could have a devastating effect on the latter’s battlefield performance. The EU/NATO could certainly use their own ISR platforms as an interim solution, but their capabilities in that regard are largely negligent without the US. The Trump-Zelensky spat is now slowly turning into a US-EU/NATO one as the Neo-Nazi junta frontman got invited to London where the endemically and pathologically Russophobic United Kingdom is pushing a deal that would ensure this NATO-orchestrated war continues.

As the Zelensky cult in the US effectively collapsed on live TV, the EU/NATO felt the urgent need to reinforce it in Europe. After he was kicked out of the White House, Zelensky went to UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer who told him that he has “full backing” from the UK that will “stand with you for as long as it may take”. Most of the EU/NATO leadership was also there, including Secretary General Mark Rutte, French President Emmanuel Macron, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, President of the EU Commission Ursula von der Leyen, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, among the representatives of other member states. Interestingly, the Baltic Chihuahuas were not invited, even though their rabid Russophobia should’ve ensured them seats in the front row. They protested the decision, as they were to present a “groundbreaking plan”.

Phew, the “evil “Russians must’ve sighed in relief that the three “global hyperpowers” from the Baltic didn’t get the chance to show them “who’s the boss”. But, jokes aside, the talks in London demonstrate that the increasingly delusional EU/NATO could push the “old continent” into a bloodbath of unprecedented proportions. Starmer stated that the plan is to “stop the fighting with Russia before presenting it to the US”. This can only be described as an attempt to appease Trump without actually trying to achieve peace. As evidenced by Italian PM Giorgia Meloni’s remarks, the EU/NATO is only worried that it “may appear weak and divided” (i.e. without US support). And yet, even the pathetically impotent Europe itself realizes just how little sense this makes. Polish PM Donald Tusk openly stated the following before departing for the London meeting:

“This is a paradox, listen to how it sounds: 500 million Europeans ask 300 million Americans to protect them from 140 million Russians. If you know how to count, rely on yourself.”

It’s rather interesting how terrified the EU/NATO is of “weak” Russia whose economy should be “in tatters”, as Ursula von der Leyen promised back in 2022. However, the reality is that Europe is indeed weak, which is why Brussels wants to militarize the troubled bloc (although that’s easier said than done). Expectedly, the UK is still obsessed with the idea of sending an official EU/NATO force to Ukraine, despite the fact that Moscow repeatedly warned their presence won’t be tolerated in any shape or form. And yet, Starmer pompously announced a “coalition of the willing” that would supposedly “help Ukraine”, but still reiterated the need for US support. In other words, London is determined to push for a WW3 scenario due to its mindless hatred for Russia. In a press conference after the meeting, Starmer unveiled a “four-point agreed-to peace plan”:

– to keep military aid flowing into Ukraine and to keep increasing the economic pressure on Russia;

– that any lasting peace must ensure Ukraine’s sovereignty and security and Ukraine must be present at any peace talks;

– in the event of a peace deal, to boost Ukraine’s defensive capabilities to deter any future invasion;

– to develop a “coalition of the willing”;

– to defend a deal in Ukraine and to guarantee peace afterwards.

He also insisted that the political West should be ready to get directly involved and stated that “the UK is prepared to back this with boots on the ground and planes in the air”. Starmer also announced a £1.6 billion weapons deal with the Neo-Nazi junta, stressing “the need for Europe to do the heavy lifting”. However, he still insisted on American support and said that “we’re working with the US on this point”, refusing to call Washington DC “an unreliable partner”. Once again, this is clearly a desperate attempt to ensure escalation, even worse than sabotaging the peace deal that could’ve ended the special military operation (SMO) in mere weeks. It remains to be seen how the Trump administration will respond to this, but given the disastrous meeting between Trump and Zelensky, as well as the resulting moves by the US, continued support is unlikely.

Both Russia and America realize they have nobody to talk to in Europe, as any attempts to defuse the situation are met with unmitigated hostility. It’s still unclear who would participate in this “coalition of the willing”, especially without US support. However, the UK will continue to try and trap the “old continent” in a war with Russia. The former colonial power has always been adamant that wars between tellurocracies are a must if thalassocraies are to survive, which is why it invested so much of its power projection into pushing continental countries to conflicts with Russia, including during both world wars. The concept remains unchanged to this day, which explains London’s neverending attempts to ensure escalation. The UK realizes that the window of opportunity for this still remains open, but not for much longer. Unfortunately, the people of Ukraine are right in the middle of it.
