Afghanistan was recently represented by their Taliban rulers at the climate change summit in Azerbaijan, COP29. They were invited by the UN and my sources inform me that whilst there were no public relations photo shoots for the world’s media, the Taliban mob did indeed meet with the global elite, the powerful and the policy makers. There was no outcry, no street protests, no feminist outrage, no specific media attention nor coverage and no follow up. Totalitarian Islamic misogynistic theocrats mixed freely with the climate change fascists in harmony, peace and love. It was like the environmental Woodstock gathering but without the music as this apparently would have offended the Taliban too.
You see the Taliban have barred education for women and exacerbated their dystopian rule by banning women from speaking in public. The cartoon character Andy Capp (an English non- Muslim, ideological version of the Taliban) and the tv character Alf Garnett, a British music hating misogynist, would both be orgasmic that such could happen but unfortunately for them not in their lifetimes.
Similarly, Iraq was an attendee too at the summit which coincided with this Shia regime lowering the age of consent for girls to the age of nine. Coincidentally Iraqi attendees were like the Taliban, similarly feted and were met warmly and greeted with respect due to child rapists by the environmental lobby. Global media too ignored the morally indecent actions of the oil producing Islamists. Silence was undoubtedly assent to the governing pedophiles of Iraq – the rape of children to be written into their constitution.
The paradox is that the barbaric policies of Afghanistan and Iraq have had absolutely no consequences for these two medieval Islamic countries from the global world order. Democracies not only ignore their actions but willingly facilitate and welcome them into the bosom of the brotherhood of nations.Furthermore, the progressive mainstream media are not even bothered about these policies designed to keep women further behind and below the devastating atrocious circumstances they already find themselves within these two Nazi type societies. Let me ask our readers if they believe similar global inertia would exist should Israel be the originator of such retarded behavior written into the Israeli constitution. Of course, not and the outrage, quite rightly would be global and given saturation coverage. So why the double standards from our parliamentarians, our media, global charities, human rights organizations, feminist voices and those legal bodies like the United Nations?
Human suffering means nothing to these people or organizations as long as it does not compromise, oppose or interfere with their warped ideology. Six million indigenous black Africans have been slaughtered in the Democratic Republic of Congo – the DRC, in the last twenty-five years and I will bet that this genocide has never been covered by the BBC or been subject to a United Nations Security Council resolution. Compare that to the outrage, protests and UN resolutions when a black African could not seat themselves on the same train compartment as a white African in the Republic of South Africa.
Our UK parliament has been silent on both Afghanistan and Iraq. Our members of Parliament supposedly concerned with the rights of women have totally ignored the rights and conditions of Afghan and Iraqi women. British women parliamentarians and all in our media have totally ignored these subjects and our government too is silent.
Where are the voices of moral decency? Where is the outrage? Where are the protests? Where is there media coverage?
It is nowhere to be seen, nowhere to be heard. The environmentalists who welcomed Afghanistan and Iraq to the summit in Azerbaijan in an effort to save the world are working on objectives on a world that is not worth saving.
