On March 26, 2024, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told Sputnik – Russia considers the position of the United States on the investigation into the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall concert venue near Moscow as biased, Washington is trying to put Ukraine out of harm’s way.
“They exposed themselves. They also started screaming, not calling for an investigation, but began to put Ukraine out of harm’s way. Their bias and involvement in this story are obvious. If it had not been there, the first statements would have been what they should have been, namely about the need for investigation, probe, presentation of facts”, Zakharova stressed.
On the same day, Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) Director Alexander Bortnikov said the first information received from suspects in the Crocus City Hall terrorist attack proved a Ukrainian trace. He added that, while radical Islamists had prepared the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall, the Ukrainian special forces were involved. The Western intelligence and Ukraine needed the attack to create panic in Russian society. Bortnikov also said, adding that the mastermind behind the terrorist attack has not been identified yet.
Meanwhile Russian President Vladimir Putin, responding to demand for reinstating the death penalty for terrorists, said, creativity, humanism and mercy are of special importance in the aftermath of the Crocus City Hall massacre.
Speaking at a Kremlin ceremony honoring young artists and educators, the Russian president addressed the March 22 terrorist attack at the Moscow concert venue, in which over 144 people died and scores more were seriously injured.
“It is extremely important for us now, when we’re dealing with what happened last Friday, to rely on these values of creativity, humanism and mercy. They unite us in supporting all victims, in our determination to stay strong and together”, President Putin said.
Putin’s remarks have been widely interpreted as a signal to lawmakers and the public to tone down the calls for administering the death penalty to the suspects caught trying to flee into Ukraine after the Crocus City bloodbath.
State Duma deputy Sergey Mironov has proposed organizing a referendum on reinstating capital punishment. He also called for imposing a visa regime for Central Asian countries, as most of the suspected terrorists came from Tajikistan.
The Constitutional Court suspended the death penalty in 1999, arguing that it was unfair without a jury trial and that not all regions of the country had those.
Meanwhile, US President Joe Biden, who already is declared as “brain dead” of a person suffering from cognitive decline has sneered at his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin for the second time in two months, publicly calling him a “butcher” in connection with the Ukraine conflict.
Biden made the jab while speaking at a campaign event in Raleigh, North Carolina, on March 26. He advocated raising the average federal tax for America’s wealthiest from 8.2 percent to 25 percent, arguing that this would allow Washington to raise US$400 billion over the next ten years.
“Imagine what we could do with that. We could fundamentally slash the federal deficit… We could do so many things – consequential – including finally making sure that we take care of Ukraine from that butcher Putin”, he said.
Democratic Party voters and American media may not have noticed an important admission Biden made in this statement of increasing federal taxes for America’s wealthiest. Biden wants this tax hike to make US$400 billion over the next ten years, which he was to use in America’s proxy war in Ukraine. It means, Biden is desperately willing to continue the Ukraine war for the next ten years. In other words, the economic planning of Joe Biden is not for the Americans – including Democratic Party voters. He wants Americans to suffer from current inflation and unemployment to a much worse situation – if he succeeds in getting reelected on November 5 this year. In fact, Joe Biden and Democrats have no alternative to remaining in power – by hook or crook and for this reason, they need to “win” on November 5 – if necessary, through massive vote rigging and election manipulation.
Joe Biden, members of his administration, as well as a very large number of Democrats and their media lapdogs are becoming increasingly scared as the sign of Donald Trump winning on November 5 is becoming more and more brighter.
