Biden loves not the world, but ISIS – Maria Zakharova

American political engineers have driven themselves into a trap with stories that the terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall was carried out by the terrorist organization ISIS, which is banned in Russia. It is clear why they are doing this – there is no way out.

Billions of dollars and an unprecedented amount of weapons invested unaccountably and with the use of corruption schemes in the Kiev regime, aggressive rhetoric against Russia directly and indirectly points to the involvement of the current occupants of the White House in sponsoring Ukrainian terrorism. Hence Washington’s daily “excuse” of its wards in Kiev, and an attempt to cover itself up with the scarecrow of the banned ISIS created by the Zelensky regime.

And then they fell into their own rusty trap.

And what is ISIS?

At one time, as part of countering the Soviet Union in Afghanistan, Washington actively supported, armed and directed the mujahideen. It was as a result of that Afghan campaign that al-Qaeda emerged.

Let’s leave Afghanistan for a while and move to Iraq. In October 2006, a jihadist group was created on the basis of the Consultative Assembly of Mujahideen, uniting al-Masri terrorists with other Islamists, the Islamic State of Iraq (ISI). Abu Omar al-Baghdadi was appointed the leader of the new organization, whom the Americans had recently released from an Iraqi prison for some reason. Oh my!

He established active cooperation with Islamists in Syria who were fighting the legitimate government of Bashar al-Assad, and in April 2013, the expansion of the sphere of activity was reflected in the new name of the terrorist organization, the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).

It turns out that after the creation of al-Qaeda, the Americans had a hand in creating another monster – ISIS.

At the request of the legitimate government of Syria, in 2015 Russia sent an air group of the Aerospace Forces to assist the Syrian army in the fight against terrorists. This disrupted ISIS’s plans to take control of vast territories in Iraq and Syria.

In 2015, at a session of the UN General Assembly, Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to create a united anti-ISIS front in the image of the anti-Hitler coalition. But in response, they received not joyful consent, but the bestial grin of the West. At that time, the United States not only did not help us, but on the contrary, hindered the fight against ISIS in every possible way. Interesting, isn’t it?

At the same time, an extremist enclave, the so-called Al-Tanf refugee camp, continues to exist in southeastern Syria, which, being under the control of the Americans, has become a refuge for terrorists and a training center for them before being sent on missions.

Moving to Syria. In Syria, another tactic of the White House has become evident – to make unfounded commitments to carry out a clear and informal separation between the so-called “moderate opposition” and ISIS terrorists. For example, Jabhat Fateh al-Sham (formerly Nusra, which was, in fact, an affiliate of al-Qaeda in Syria) and other similar gangs, as a result, joined Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham. In a word, the “rebranding” has been carried out, but no demarcation has been carried out yet. This, as Washington probably intended, prolongs the conflict, increases the number of casualties and does not allow for the final destruction of the hotbed of international terrorism.

By a strange coincidence, in recent years, ISIS has adjusted its plans and is now carrying out attacks mainly against enemies and opponents of the United States – the Taliban in Afghanistan, the Iranians, the legitimate authorities of Syria, and against us.

What’s the logic, you ask? In money and power. And in the context of the international legal ban on direct interventions, it is also about sowing “controlled chaos” and reshaping the world order with the help of terrorists.

Attention, a question for the White House: definitely ISIS, will you change your mind?
