Team Donald Trump should stay-away from pro-Al Qaeda Bangladesh Nationalist Party

As public perception in the United States and the world is growing with anticipation of a landslide victory of Donald Trump during the November 5 general election, pro-Al Qaeda Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), which had earlier appointed Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden as its lobbyist now has started multiple efforts in finding any source of “effective lobbyists” through the pro-Republican Party lobbyist firms with the target of establishing contacts with anticipated key-figures in the Trump administration as well as his daughter Ivanka Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Quoting “source” Weekly Blitz in a report said, BNP’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman has become totally frustrated as he failed to foil the January 7 general elections in Bangladesh even after spending millions of dollars towards lobbyists, including Hunter Biden. Tarique was given assurance by representative of Hunter Biden as well as BNP’s own lobbyists and representatives in the United States – William B Milam, Jon Danilowicz and Tarique’s own man Mushfiqul Fazal Ansarey about forcing Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in handing-over power to a caretaker government prior to January 7 general election. Moreover, Tarique Rahman also was banking on controversial Nobel laureate Prof Muhammad Yunus of using his connections with Hillary Clinton and few other influential figures in the Democratic Party in exerting pressure on Awami League. Finally, each and every attempt of Tarique Rahman and his men and lobbyists fell flat. At this stage, at Tarique Rahman’s instruction, his representative Mushfiqul Fazal Ansarey made frantic bids in getting a statement from the US State Department on Washington’s stand against Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. It may be mentioned here that Mushfiqul Fazal has connections with Al Qaeda since 2002 and he personally met Ayman al-Zawahiri in Dhaka on a number of occasions.

Mushfiqul Fazal Ansarey has several times asked the US State Department spokesperson about the possibility of the Biden administration not recognizing Sheikh Hasina and her government. In response to this question, the State Department clearly said it will continue to work with the Bangladesh government. Ansarey has been making frantic bids in misleading the US administration with the ulterior agenda of jeopardizing existing relations between Dhaka and Washington. Moreover, he and his cohorts are frantically trying to portray the United States as supporter of terrorism, jihadism, Islamism and even affiliates of Al Qaeda and Hezbollah, while they also are portraying Washington as an enemy of New Delhi.

Meanwhile, British newspaper The Daily Express published an opinion-editorial criticizing Muhammad Yunus, despite the fact, it was perceived by many that Yunus enjoys patronization from the Western media. Seeing this report, a large number of Yunus fans inside the BNP were astonished as they always believed – none of the Western media would run anything criticizing Muhammad Yunus as he has been seen as a savior of poor. It was earlier revealed – while jointly receiving the Nobel Peace Prize along with Grameen Bank from Professor Ole Danbolt Mjøs, Chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee on December 10, 2006 for “their efforts to create economic and social development from below”, in presence of global dignitaries, Muhammad Yunus declared – “We can put poverty in the museum”.

At that time a sizable number of people – including journalists were feeling encouraged knowing Nobel laureate Muhammad Yunus would put poverty in the museum. After 17 years of receiving the prestigious prize – Muhammad Yunus has not succeeded in sending poverty to museums. Instead, millions of borrowers of loan from him in Bangladesh now are facing cruel sufferings due to poverty while most possibly, Yunus has engaged ‘reputation management’ firms to remove everyone on the web about his pronouncement of sending poverty to museums. Why?

Danish investigative journalist Tom Heinemann, revealed a number of secret documents proving how Muhammad Yunus back in the mid-90’s transferred 100 million dollars – where most was donated as grants from Norway, Sweden, Germany, the United States and Canada – to a new company in the Grameen-family – mostly owned by his family members – in order to dodge taxes.

Tom Heinemann also exposed how Muhammad Yunus was charging high-interest rates ranging between 21 to 37 percent from the vulnerable poor female borrowers, although Yunus was receiving the majority of the fund as grant from various countries in the world.

Meanwhile, as part of his latest plan of somehow establishing connections with inner circle of former President Donald Trump, a desperate Tarique Rahman even made a phone call to a prominent leader in the Republican Party, where after knowing identity of the caller, an aide to the Republican Party leader asked Tarique Rahman to “refrain from calling again” and also said, “we don’t communicate with any convicted terrorist or Islamist”.

Still Tarique Rahman tried to convince the aide stating everything that is appearing in Bangladesh and international media are “pure propaganda”. As the aide asked Tarique to clarify why his party had hosted Al Qaeda kingpin Ayman al-Zawahiri in 2002 and why he personally held meeting with this dangerous terrorist, a rattled Tarique quickly hanged-up the phone.

Following this, Tarique Rahman reportedly has assigned at least two Bangladesh national and BNP activists in New York City to “anyhow reach” Donald Trump or his son, although it is highly-anticipated that for a pro-Al Qaeda entity, it will be a real tough task for Bangladesh Nationalist Party in succeeding in establishing connections with Donald Trump or any of his team members. Instead, Trump Team shall always maintain distance from such pure evils. At the same time, it is highly likely – once Trump wins the November 5 election, he may initiate investigation into Hunter Biden’s connections with BNP.
