Ruling Awami League MP launches extreme atrocity on Hindus in Bangladesh

Although Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in her election manifesto clearly pledged to protect Hindus and religious minorities in Bangladesh, within hours of January 7 general election, a ruling party MP has started extremely atrocity on Hindus while law enforcement agencies are reportedly showing reluctance in taking any steps in saving Hindu men, women and children from persecution. Such reverberations following the 12th Parliament Election in Mongla, Bagerhat, Bangladesh, have unleashed a disturbing narrative of post-election turbulence marked by violence, persecution, and the precarious plight of minority communities. At the forefront of this upheaval stands Keshav Lal Mandal, a valiant freedom fighter, appealing to the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for immediate intervention to address the escalating violence orchestrated by armed cadres associated with the elected Member of Parliament, Habibur Nahar.

In a poignant press conference convened at the National Press Club, Keshav Lal Mandal, accompanied by fellow freedom fighter Bidhan Chandra Roy, local UP chairmen, and members of persecuted Hindu families, detailed the widespread reign of terror established by armed cadres affiliated with MP Habibur Nahar in the Rampal-Mongla constituency. Their testimonies painted a grim picture, unveiling a wave of torture, assault, beatings, and forceful occupation of properties – that has gripped the region, with a particularly alarming impact on minority communities.

The press conference served as a platform to underscore the grim reality on the ground, where Hindus find themselves held hostage within the confines of their homes due to the ruthless activities of MP Habibur Nahar’s cadres.

Numerous Hindu families are living in a state of perpetual siege, and the precarious situation has compelled hundreds of families to flee their homes, seeking refuge elsewhere. The violence, it seems, is a punitive response to the perceived failure of residents to cast their votes in favor of Habibur Nahar.

The narrative unveils the changing political landscape with the entry of independent candidate Idris Ali Izaradar, a seasoned freedom fighter and former upazila chairman of Mongla. The ensuing competition escalated tensions, leading to threats and intimidation against minority community activists and leaders supporting Idris Ali.

In the aftermath of the election results, armed miscreants ruthlessly targeted the homes, businesses, and shops of Hindus who had thrown their support behind the independent candidate, leaving in their wake a trail of destruction and despair.

The press conference drew attention to the alarming reports of armed terrorists conducting a rampage in several unions of Mongla. Shockingly, specific individuals were named as perpetrators, including upazila chairman Abu Taher Howlader, former UP chairman Kabir Hossain, and others. The alleged involvement of these individuals raises serious concerns, and the apparent lack of administrative action against them points to a potential breakdown in accountability.

The chronicle takes an intriguing turn with the spotlight on reports published in neighboring Indian newspapers, particularly ‘Hindu Voice’, which cast doubt on the religious neutrality and coexistence within Bangladesh.

The news story, “Awami League candidate cricketer Shakib Al Hasan forced Hindus to eat beef”, involving the popular cricketer turned politician, Shakib Al Hasan, has attracted significant attention. The suggestion of a conspiracy, linking it to the anti-India and anti-Hindu sentiments of BNP-Jamaat, adds a layer of complexity, with suspicions of involvement by the Pakistani spy agency ISI.

Earlier, in an exclusive report, Blitz provided detailed information on how after failing to stop the January 7, 2024 general elections in Bangladesh by spending millions of dollars towards lobbyists and PR agencies in the United States, Britain and other Western nations, India and Hindu hating ultra-Islamist and pro-Pakistan Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has launched a movement titled ‘India Out’ with slogans “India is not a friend of Bangladesh”, “India is destroying Bangladesh” etcetera.

The report said, sitting in London, convicted terrorist and acting chairman of BNP, Tarique Rahman has instructed BNP leaders and activists to launch an anti-India movement in Bangladesh xeroxing that of Maldives and incite anti-Hindu and anti-India sentiment in the country. Accordingly, members of the cyber wing of the party have started spreading anti-Hindu and anti-India hatred through social media platforms. One such notorious act of a BNP activist has been identified on X (former Twitter) platform where the account is continuously spreading anti-Hindu and anti-India hatred.

Such anti-Hindu and anti-India activities of BNP activists and other Islamist forces in Bangladesh is promoted by a number of individuals including a jihadist-terrorist named Zulkarnain Saer Sami, alias Zulkarnain Saer, alias Zulkarnain Saer Khan Sami alias Tanvir Md. Sadat.

According to Arabian Post, in the recent past this jihadist terrorist threatened to behead a Hindu rights activist and professor Kushal Baran Chakraborty and termed Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as a “terrorist group” and gave instigation against Hindus and branded RSS leaders as “top terrorists”.

According to Terrorism Research & Analysis Consortium (TRAC), which is one of the most comprehensive compendiums of information and analysis of terrorist groups and activities in the world, jihadist Zulkarnain Saer Khan poses potential threat to the United Kingdom and the European Union nations.

Europe’s leading and most-influential multi-media news channel EuroNews, through a report titled ‘Cryptocurrency, drugs, money laundering: a Hungarian thread in the funding of Hamas’ has further exposed dangerous activities of Zulkarnain Saer Sami, alias Zulkarnain Saer, alias Zulkarnain Saer Khan Sami alias Tanvir Md. Sadat, who after being deported from Hungary landed in the United Kingdom and sought asylum has been funding and promoting pro-Hamas and anti-Israel and anti-Israel rallies in London has turned into a potential threat to Britain’s national security while in the recent past this jihadist terrorist threatened to behead a Hindu rights activist and professor Kushal Baran Chakraborty in Chittagong, Bangladesh and termed Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as a “terrorist group”, gave instigation against Hindus and branded RSS leaders as “top terrorists”.
