To people in Bangladesh, while David Bergman, a Qatari asset and barking mouthpiece of terrorists and criminal is known within the media circuit as a loyal lapdog of war Islamists, jihadists and criminals, this class-less individual is seen spreading false propaganda against Blitz, the only anti-militancy newspapers publishing from Bangladesh for more than two decades. David Bergman sees Blitz as a newspaper spreading “disinformation” because, it has been exposing notorious activities of his cohorts – such as Interpol-wanted terror-funder Shahid Uddin Khan, extortionist, street-snatcher and Hamas supporter Zulkarnain Saer Khan Sami and few more notorious elements who have been continuing nefarious attempts of helping Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) in seizing power through “Islamist revolt” and turn the country into a neo-Taliban state.

As a journalist, the only career David Bergman has outside Bangladesh is with Twenty-Twenty, which is a British television production company. In September 2007, following Twenty-Twenty’s merger with Shed Media Group (now Warner Bros Television Productions UK), David Bergman was sacked from the Twenty-Twenty on various allegations, which included coverage against bribes, womanizing and addicted to drugs.
David Bergman is the son-in-law of Dr. Kamal Hossain, a lawyer-cum-failed politician, who has lately formed an alliance with pro-Islamist Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and terror-patron Jamaat e Islami.
Bergman’s mother-in-law is Hameeda Akhund alias Hameeda Hossain, daughter of a Pakistani jurist named Abdullah Shafi Mohammad Akhund. Hameeda was born in 1936 in Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan. Her father Abdullah Shafi was a diehard anti-Indian. Dr. Kamal had developed romantic relations with Hameeda, a divorcee and later married her. Throughout her life, Hameeda has always been inclined towards Pakistan.
After many years, when we are witnessing the rise of radical Islam in Britain and an unknown number of sleeper cells of Islamic State in the Western nations, no one can say with certainty as to how a so-called British journalist named David Bergman became the blue-eyed boy of the criminals and jihadists. It is not unlikely that an immoral individual like Bergman has also been working for the enemies of the West. And In-fact David Bergman is enjoying patronizing of Qatari regime, Pakistani ISI and most possibly even the notorious terrorist named Dawood Ibrahim.
In journalism, there is a word called ethics. But it seems that a so-called British journalist named David Bergman, who runs a blog on the blogspot.com has been enthusiastically busy in publishing one-after-another propaganda materials in favor of an ISIS funder as well as terrorists and war criminals. Through these write-ups, David Bergman clearly is making frantic bids of character assassination of few individuals as well as take revenge on the Bangladesh government for its ongoing relentless efforts of combating militancy as well trying the war criminals who have committed a crime against humanity during Bangladesh’s war of independence in 1971.

Here again, it is proved that David Bergman lacks minimal ethics and since his younger days, he has always been associated with the criminals and culprits. On this particular case, he had worked for Union Carbide, a company that was responsible for the death of 3,787 people and for leaving 40,000 individuals permanently disabled, maimed, or suffering from serious illness. Doesn’t it show the ugly and inhuman man in David Bergman?
On October 13, 2018, Dhaka’s English newspaper Daily Observer in an article titled ‘David Bergman: The rogue journalist’ wrote:
If we scrutinize the self-declared investigative journalist David Bergman thoroughly, we shall find him as a highwayman and nothing less than that. What does that tell us? It tells us that truthful answers are too toxic, and deceptive ones stand a risk of being exposed by other parties. He is an agent for someone else in exchange of very fat amount money, as it is strongly trusted. Bergman maintains a blog that follows the proceedings of the International Crimes Tribunal of Bangladesh and many other issues aiming to demean or belittles our glorious Liberation War of 1971, millions of our people’s supreme sacrifice, the present government and above all, the overall the image of the country. He has been carrying out his ill-will propaganda against Bangladesh since long.
… The mass killings of many hundreds of thousands of Bengalis in former East Pakistan in 1971, accompanied by widespread torture with rapes designed to affect the ethnic balance and the subsequent exodus of millions of refugees, has a special place in the history of the world’s unrequited horrors. What stands out is the full-on barbarity of “Operation Searchlight”, in which a monstrous Pakistani military regiment, with the latest military hardware, emerged behemoth-like from its barracks to kill the poor and burn down our houses and then to exterminate the intelligentsia. That was the beginning of the war. At the end, a few days before Pakistan’s foreseeable surrender, came the most spiteful killings — of the professionals, teachers and community leaders who might have made a contribution to the nascent state of Bangladesh. There was genocide too, aimed at extinguishing or extirpating the large minority Hindu population.
This wolf has never pronounced any large-hearted words for the millions of martyrs and their families. It is very outrageous that there is no relation between David’s words and actions. His home country is the hideaway of many worst war criminals and mass murderers under the draperies of so-called human rights. His own country must revamp and restructure its olden, obsolete and stale Human Rights Charter to drive them out of club of humanity. But he has chosen to remain silent on these dire emergencies needed upshots to get rid of them. Instead, he has been inventing opprobrious stories about Bangladesh since long taking fat amounts of kickbacks from the mass killers of 1971 War and their collaborators.
… David’s statements are nothing but a garrulous one aimed at willful interference into another independent and sovereign country’s private affairs. Respect and honesty are the two main components of professional ethics. All professionals are expected to represent a business ethically as they are a part of it. This is why, journalists like professionals traditionally speak of the truths and if it is otherwise, it is yellow journalism and so, it is punishable. It should be noted that people within each profession are expected to be respectful and honest in their personal dealings as well.
