The election of Sachin GIDC Co.O.Society near Surat was held on Saturday. In this election, 17 candidates each from Parivartan Panel and Industry Cooperation Panel were in the fray. Voting took place on Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm. According to Returning Officer Prafulbhai V. Korat, Sachin Industrial Co.O. Out of total 1616 voters of Society Limited, 1399 voters exercised their franchise i.e. 85 percent voting took place out of which 104 votes were rejected. After this, the counting of votes started from late evening on Saturday which continued till late night. At 3.15 am on Sunday, the Election Officer announced the election results in which all the 17 candidates of Parivartan Panel were declared victorious with a huge majority.
Sachin GIDC is one of the biggest GIDC in Gujarat. The counting of votes started at 5 pm. The Parivartan panel was leading from the start as the votes were counted in various rounds of counting. The ruling Industry Cooperation Panel was trailing from the very first round. The counting of votes continued till late night. Returning officer Prafulbhai V. Korat declared the election result at 3.15 am in which all the 17 candidates of Parivartan panel won with a huge majority.

Nileshbhai P.Limbasia Vimal Textile got 728 votes. Mayur Jayavadan Golwala Bhavini Textile got 723 votes. Kishore Babubhai Patel Kitex Industries got 715 votes. Shilbaben b. Antala Hinglaj Textile got 713 votes. Nilesh Mohan Gami Mahakali Fab got 712 votes. Girish C. Rakholia Chakradhar Synthetics got 711 votes. Devendra Kanubhai Dobriya got 710 votes. Bhikhubhai D. Nakrani Shivam Textile got 710 votes. Bela Dinesh Kamanwar Sunshine Engineering got 707 votes. Manharlal K. Parmar Sachin Commercial Corporation got 706 votes. Gaurang H.Chapatwala K.G. Twisters got 706 votes. Mohanbhai Bari Pujan Texpro Machinery got 703 votes. Keyurbhai N. Patel Maxon Products got 698 votes. Bhavanbhai M. Bard Viad Fashan got 684 votes. Mansukhbhai J. Lakhani Trishula Textile got 682 votes. Mahendrabhai D. Ramoliya Pitrikrupa Textile got 680 votes. Vasanthkumar L. Lakhani Divyesh Silk Meals got 672 votes.
