According to the legend, a Brahmin had seven sons as brides. As soon as the month of Sawan started, six daughters-in-law went to their maternal home with their brother. Karunayukta, listening to Deen Vani, Shesh ji came in the form of an old Brahmin and then took him away. After traveling a short distance, he assumed his real form, then took him to Nag Lok by sitting on his hood. There she started living without worry when she was living in Hades. At the same time many children of snakes were born in Shesh ji’s family tradition. Seeing that snake’s child roaming everywhere, Shesh Nag Rani gave a brass lamp to that bride.
