AGRA: The son of the Higher Education Minister of Uttar Pradesh has complained to the District Magistrate alleging that the medical store inside a major hospital in Agra sold injections of wrong batch number and made irregularities in the bill. After this, the District Magistrate has entrusted the investigation of the medical agency to ADM City. At the same time, the medical agency has been banned for the sale of injections. Today the team will reach the medical center and take the sample.

Minister’s son was buying injection for wife from agency

According to Alukik Upadhyay, son of State Higher Education Minister Yogendra Upadhyay, a resident of Agra, he was taking injections for his wife for several days from the Garg Medical Agency located at Pushpanjali Hospital. When his wife did not see any benefit from that injection, he consulted doctors. After this, when the doctors investigated, they came to know that the injections that were being given to them and the batch number of the injection that was being mentioned on the bill were different.

Complaint on agency fraud

After this, Alokik Upadhyay complained about this matter to the District Magistrate of Agra and said that Garg Medical Agency has deliberately cheated him and all the customers of Agra who take medicines from his agency. In such a situation, strict action should be taken against this medical agency.

After the complaint of Alokik Upadhyay, after the order of the District Magistrate, under the leadership of ADM City, drug inspector Kapil Sharma was sent for investigation and the team raided the medical store. Where he found Manoj Garg, the medical store operator. In the investigation, two batches of injections were found in the store, after which the shopkeeper also showed the bills of its purchase and sale.

According to the officials, the injection sample could not be taken on Thursday due to non-compliance of the cold chain. On Friday, the team will go to the medical agency to collect the injection sample and till then the sale of injection has been banned.
