Now the patients and their relatives coming for treatment in Medical College Hospitals of Bihar will not have to buy bottled water from outside for drinking. Additional Chief Secretary Pratyay Amrit has given strict instructions to all medical college hospitals that under Mission Parivartan, arrangements should be made for clean drinking water for the patients in the hospital.

Instructions to ensure the arrangement of clean drinking water

Pratyay Amrit said that right now the state is experiencing severe heat. In such a situation, every hospital should ensure arrangement of clean drinking water for patients and their relatives, so that poor patients do not have to buy bottled water. Due to the better facility of drinking water in the hospitals, now there will be less burden on the pocket of the patients. Along with this, better water will also be available for drinking.

Change should be visible under mission change

The Additional Chief Secretary has directed that under Mission Parivartan, there should be a change in the appearance of the medical college hospitals. In the review, a point of action has been prepared for all the medical college hospitals for the work to be done under the mission change. Under this, encroachments in medical college hospitals have to be removed. Also the toilets have to be cleaned.

Clean tap water should be made available for OPD patients coming to the Medical College Hospital. So that patients do not have to buy bottled water from outside.

The patients admitted in the hospital should be provided with clean drinking water near their ward. So that they do not have to wander for water in this summer.

If there is already a provision of clean drinking water in the hospital, then it should be chlorinated.
