Jio Studios’ film Kachche Limbu starring Radhika Madan, Rajat Barmecha and Aayush Mehra is all set to digitally premiere on Jio Cinema on 19th May. The trailer of the film was recently released which has got the audience excited. Kachche Limbu is a slice of life story that explores the challenges of pursuing one’s passion amid family expectations and celebrates the unbreakable bond of a brother-sister. In this film, Radhika Madan will be seen playing Gully Cricket against her brother’s teams.
In this film, Radhika is seen bowling strangely, which is very similar to the bowling of Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah. In this regard, director Shubham Yogi said, “When we started preparing for cricket, I wanted to see what shots could be taken naturally from the actors. Radhika grew up playing with her elder brother and whatever cricket she played She was very excited to show us all she knew about bowling. More than that, she was keen to give an identity to her character by inventing bowling innovations. Our research came from participating in an underarm tournament in the suburbs of Mumbai. The engagement extended to watching cricket highlights together and in preparation for this, we choreographed an amalgamation of Radhika’s action which was inspired by the best bowler in the world, Jasprit Bumrah.
