In the application given to Nawadih police regarding the incident, the victim’s father said that his daughter had gone to fill water at the well behind the house at around 4 pm on May 15. Meanwhile, a young man forcibly took his daughter’s mouth with a cloth and took her to the nearby Shimle forest. Where he raped many times in the night by showing fear of knife.
The accused youth absconded
On the morning of 16th May, when the villagers saw both of them near Birhor Beda Nala, the young man fled on enquiry. As soon as the information was received, the minor’s father reached this drain and took the daughter to his home. After coming home, the minor narrated the incident to his family members. Then a written complaint has been made in the police station.
