Jharkhand: A village in Kolhan where the road has not been built till date, the villagers face problems in movement

Seraikela-Kharsawan, Shachindra Kumar Dash: Even after 75 years of independence, the road has not been built to go to Jenasahi village of Telayadih panchayat located in Kharsawan block of Seraikela-Kharsawan district. This village becomes an island during the rainy season. On Thursday, the local MLA Dashrath Gagarai reached Jenasahi village and took the initiative to build an access road to the village. MLA Dashrath Gagarai held a meeting with the villagers of Jenasahi village including BDO Gautam Kumar. The villagers told that due to lack of access road to reach the village, the villagers face a lot of difficulty in commuting.

3000 feet long road will be constructed

On the occasion, MLA Dashrath Gagarai said that about 3000 feet long road will be constructed from Jenasahi village to Badabambo Koplang main road. The ryati land of two people will also come in this. On the occasion, MLA Dashrath Gagarai appealed to both the ryots to donate land for the construction of the road, on which the ryots agreed. He told that the process of road construction will be started soon, so that the villagers can get convenience in the coming days. Also inspected the site for road construction. From the spot, MLA Dashrath Gagarai also talked to the senior officials of the district including the Deputy Commissioner.

Jenasahi becomes an island in the rainy season

The villagers told that 300 people from about 50 families live in the village. Due to the crop growing in the fields around the village throughout the year, people have to move with the help of the paths of the fields. The village becomes a complete island during the rainy season. There is also a problem in taking the patients to the hospital. Ambulance is not able to go to the village. In the rainy days, let alone four wheelers, even two wheelers cannot reach this village. It was told that due to lack of road, a lot of problems have to be faced. The villagers will be greatly facilitated by the construction of an access road to go to the village. A lot of happiness was seen in the villagers when the way for road construction was paved.

During this mainly village head Subhash Pradhan, Kanhu Pradhan, Virendra Hembram, Manjudi Samad, Kailash Mudi, Kande Samad, Subhash Hembram, Dharmendra Hembram, Sanjay Mudi, Sahaddhara Mudi, Shanti Mudi, Pirlu Soy, Somwari Soy, including BDO Gautam Kumar. On Monday Bodra, Menjo Kui, Badli Mudi etc were present.
