Indian Railways: Railways has given a new gift to the people traveling from Barauni railway station. Now two trains have been given stoppage at New Barauni station. As an experiment, East Central Railway has given two minutes stoppage to both these trains for six months. Saharsa- Patna- Saharsa Rajyarani Express and Purnia Court- Hatia- Purnia Court Express have been approved for stoppage at New Barauni station.
18625/ 26 Purnia Court – Hatia – Purnia Court Express
18625 Purnia Court – Hatia Express leaving Purnia Court from 21 May will reach New Barauni station at 07:34 hrs and onward departure at 07:36 hrs. Similarly, 18626 Hatia Purnea Court Express leaving Hatia from May 21 will reach New Barauni station at 18:50 and depart at 18:52. With the stoppage of this train at Barauni, now the people going from Barauni to Patna and Ranchi will get a lot of convenience.
12567/ 68 Saharsa-Patna-Saharsa Rajyarani Express
12567 Rajyarani Express leaving Saharsa from 19th May will reach New Barauni station at 09:03 hrs and will depart for onward journey at 09:05 hrs. Similarly, 12568 Rajya Rani Express leaving Patna from May 19 will reach New Barauni station at 14:35 and depart for onward journey at 14:37. Due to stoppage at New Barauni station, 12567 Rajyarani Express will arrive at Dinkargram Simaria station at 09:27 instead of 09:22 and 12568 Rajyarani Express will arrive at Dinkargram Simaria at 14:20 instead of 14:25. With the stoppage of this train, the railway passengers going from Barauni to Saharsa and Patna will get a lot of convenience.

Public Relations Officer (CPRO) of Hajipur, Virendra Kumar said that keeping in view the facilities of the railway passengers, Purnia Court-Hatia Express train and Rajyarani Express have been given a stoppage of two minutes at New Barauni station of Sonpur division for six months.
