It also included the reclassification of a number of companies, as Masraf Al Rayan (MARK) was transferred from the MSCI index of large-cap companies to the index of medium-cap companies, and the transfer of Mesaieed Company (MPHC) from the MSCI index of large-cap companies to the index of large-cap companies. average money.
The semi-annual review included removing companies from the MSCI Small Cap Index, Aamal Holding Company (AHCS).
The results of the review are valid starting from the closing day of May 31.
For its part, Irid has set July 22 as the date for paying interest to holders of the Global Medium Term Debt Program (GMTN) bonds, at a value of $9.38 million.
The company said in a statement to the Qatar Stock Exchange that Ooredoo International Financial Company Limited, owned by “Areed”, will pay interest on the bonds, amounting to $500 million, with an interest rate of 3.75%, due on July 22.
In turn, Anma Holding Company confirmed that there is no material information or news affecting the increase in the trading volume of its shares listed on the Qatar Stock Exchange.
The Qatar Stock Exchange stated on its official website that, based on the principle of disclosure and transparency, the stock exchange management addressed “Anmaa Holding” regarding the increase in demand for the company’s shares.
The Qatar Stock Exchange stated that the aforementioned company stated that there was no information or decisions that were not disclosed.
In another context, the general index of the Qatar Stock Exchange fell yesterday by 72.66 points, or 0.68 per cent, to reach the level of 10 thousand and 669.16 points.
During the session, 221 million and 831 thousand and 26 shares were traded, with a value of 671 million and 800 thousand and 296,652 riyals, as a result of the implementation of 20,401 transactions in all sectors.
Shares of 18 companies rose in the session, while the prices of 26 other companies decreased, while 4 companies maintained their previous closing prices.
The market capitalization, at the end of the trading session, amounted to 627 billion and 490 million and 499 thousand and 708,610 riyals, compared to 629 billion and 8 million and 608 thousand and 561,110 riyals, in the previous session.
