Now in the month of June, the health department will have an official agreement with Jeevika for this. The work of preparing dresses for the patients will be started by the Jeevika Didis. The Health Department had issued a resolution in this regard in February this year. After the agreement, all the patients admitted by Jeevika Group in Medical College Hospitals, District Hospitals and Sub-Divisional Hospitals will start getting new dress. Along with this, the cleanliness of the premises will also start.
There are 25 thousand beds in state government hospitals
There are about 25 thousand beds in the government hospitals of the state. Of these, there are about 15,000 beds in medical college hospitals, district hospitals and sub-divisional hospitals. Khadi dresses are to be supplied to the Jeevika group on these beds. For the patients to get new dress everyday, the work of washing the dress of the patients is also to be done by Jeevika. At present, every hospital does this work itself.
Jeevika will get Rs 950 per dress
For this, the Health Department has also fixed a rate of Rs.950 for Jeevika per dress set. In this, a provision of five percent annual increase has also been made. There is a possibility of spending 14 crore 14 lakh 85 thousand to implement this scheme.
