Chalkusha (Hazibag), Izhar Hussain: A case of withdrawal of Rs 12000 for nutrition and Rs 6000 for repair work i.e. a total of Rs 18000 has come to the fore in Noori Nagar Anganwadi center located in Maskedih village of Chalkusha block under Hazaribagh district. Maid Malti Devi has been accused of extorting money. It was told that this amount was withdrawn by tricking the officials of Jharkhand State Gramin Bank. As soon as the matter came to light, there was a stir in the Block Office and Child Development Project Office.
How did the matter unfold
The victim’s helper Naseema Khatoon said that for the last two months the money for nutrition was not withdrawn. She kept on hedging the maid on repeated requests. Then when she went to the bank, the bank worker said to withdraw Rs 18,000 on April 11, 2023. It is said that the maid withdrew the amount by forging my signature without telling me. Verbally inform about it to the branch manager. Later we informed the branch manager in writing and also demanded action.
Maid Malti Devi said something
In this matter, when asked about the maid Malti Devi, she told that we had already taken the signature of the assistant Naseema Khatoon. Through which the money was withdrawn. Said that the information about this matter was given to the assistant.

Sevika cheated the bank to withdraw money: branch manager
In this regard, the branch manager of Jharkhand State Gramin Bank, Abhay Kumar said that the matter has come to his notice. As soon as told orally by the helper, we froze the account of the maid and after giving the application the money was recovered by calling the helper. Money was withdrawn by the servant on the pretext of the bank.
Clarification will be sent to maid and assistant: CDPO
Regarding this matter, CDPO Neelu Rani said that taking this matter seriously, clarification will be sent to both the servant and the assistant. At the same time, an application was given by the maids that there is difficulty in withdrawing the money for nutrition. Therefore be asked to issue the cheque. After which we had given orders to issue cheques.

At the same time, Block Development Officer Samaresh Prasad Bhandari said that this is a serious matter. It is a case related to misuse of government money. It is a matter of forgery. Action will be taken after investigating this. Along with this, it is being ascertained on whose instructions the order to issue the check was given. This matter will be investigated.
