Teachers of Bihar knocked on the door of Hon’ble, demanding unconditional status of state worker

Patna. On the state-wide call of the Bihar Shikshak Sangharsh Coordination Committee, the employed teachers of Bihar on Saturday approached the respective MLAs and Legislative Council demanding the status of state employees unconditionally from the Bihar government. The teachers not only handed over the memorandum to the MLA, but also sought his support to fulfill this demand.

Teachers are doing phased movement

In fact, ever since the Bihar government has brought a new teacher’s manual and has kept the pre-employed teachers separate from it, since then the teachers are protesting in a phased manner. As part of the agitation, the residence of Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav was surrounded in Patna under the leadership of Manish Kumar Yadav, Block President of TET STET Passed Employed Teachers Association of Raghopur block. The Deputy Chief Minister assured positive amendments in the rules for teachers.

Honorable wrote a letter to the CM

Male MLA Gopal Ravidas, BJP MLA Arun Sinha and teachers of their area reached the residence of several MLAs and sought their support by handing over memorandums. Honorable MLAs of various parties including Male, RJD, BJP have written a letter to the Chief Minister, supporting the demand to declare employed teachers as unconditional state workers and have urged for changes in the Teacher Recruitment Rules 2023 accordingly.

Demand to get status of state worker

Markandeya Pathak, a member of the Morcha’s president’s board, said that there has been an old demand of the teachers to get the status of a state worker, but the Bihar government has been continuously ignoring it. Shakir Imam, Ashwini Pandey, Pradeep Rai, Manoj Kumar, Mukesh Kumar Raj, Ranjan Kumar Gupta, Bachchu Kumar, Nitesh Kumar, Raju Singh, Rahul Kumar Singh, Premchandra Sinha, Bachchu Kumar, Shiv Vilas, Sanjit Bharti, Rajesh Kumar, Pritimala, Kumari Alka, Ashutosh Kumar and others were present along with Rakesh.
