Surat: Bus facilities increased in the city, Municipal Corporation started running new buses

Mass transportation is being given a lot of importance by the Surat Municipal Corporation. Along with this, e-vehicles are also being increased continuously. The corporation has started running new buses stating the need to run additional buses on the new route from Limbayat area to Sarthana Nature Park. Mayor Hemali Boghawal, Choryasi MLA Sandeep Desai, Amitsingh Rajput, Dinesh Rajpurohit and officials of the Municipal Corporation flagged off the bus on the new route.

City bus route no. 413 New route from Limbayat to Simada started

Started from today city bus route no. 413 Sarthana Nature Park route will start from Limbayat Nilgiri Circle via Maharana Pratap Chowk, Kumbhariya village, Saniya Hemad, Vraj Chowk, Seemada Warigriha. With this, the residents of Kumbhariya and Saniya Hemad villages as well as the working class and students will be able to get direct bus service for Sarthana and Limbayat areas. Keeping in mind the above fact, an appeal has been made to the public to avail the bus service of this route.

Enhancement of Citizens’ Convenience

As part of the public transport service provided by the Surat Municipal Corporation, BRTS is provided to the citizens of Surat city and surrounding areas. At the same time, city bus facility is being made available at concessional rates. The citizens of the city have made full use of the bus service. Due to this the number of passengers is increasing. Presently there are total 13 routes of BRTS and total 44 routes of city bus, about 2,30,000 people are availing public transport service daily. Public transport services are now widely used by the urban population.
