Kanpur: Today (Saturday) the speed of traffic on Naubasta Hamirpur road will be changed for the counting of municipal elections. The traffic from Naubasta Square to Mandi Committee on Hamirpur Road will be changed from 5 am till the end of counting of votes. The traffic department has already selected alternative routes so that the residents do not face any problem. Traffic Police appeals to the public. While doing this, it has been said that instead of using the Naubasta Hamirpur road, use any other alternative route in view of the counting of votes for the municipal elections.

No heavy-medium vehicle will be able to go from Ghatampur intersection towards Naubasta intersection. These vehicles will be able to go to their destination from Ghatampur intersection via Musanagar and Chowdagara.
– No heavy-medium vehicle will be able to come towards Naubasta Mandi Committee from Ramaipur intersection. All such vehicles will be able to reach their destination from Patara Road and Ghatampur.
– No heavy/medium and four wheeler vehicles will be able to go from Maurang Mandi Bingawan towards Naveen Galla Mandi Naubasta.
– No medium/heavy vehicle will be able to go from Naubasta intersection towards Ghatampur. Heavy vehicles coming from Naubasta intersection towards Ghatampur will be able to go from Naubasta intersection towards Kanpur Dehat via Barra bypass and from Ramadevi intersection towards Allahabad-Lucknow.
No two-wheeler or four-wheeler will be able to go towards Naubasta Naveen Mandi Samiti from Bamba Square. All such vehicles will be able to go towards their destination from Samadhi Pulia via left service road from Bamba Chauraha.
Light vehicles plying from Naubasta Square to Hamirpur Road, towards Ghatampur and from Ghatampur to Naubasta Square will also be allowed to pass by stopping as per the requirement.
Heavy vehicles coming from Barra and Kanpur Dehat will not be able to go towards Galla Mandi from Naubasta.
– No vehicle will be able to go towards Hamirpur Road from Gayatri Chauraha, Casting Yard.
– Fire service- Diversion order will not be applicable on vehicles related to ambulance and life saving drugs.
Route for counting agent personnel – parking
Route No – 01- The counting agents for all the posts of mayor and councilors of 110 wards coming from Naubasta Crossroads, after turning left from Samadhi Pulia in their four-wheeler and parking ahead of Romeo Tirahe at the left racecourse ground, were made available by the administration from there. Gayi will be able to go to their respective counting centers by entering through Gate No. 1, the main gate of Galla Mandi.
Route No – 02- The counting agents for the post of Mayor/Councillor of the wards coming from Naubasta will use the shuttle bus after turning left from JS Pulia and parking it at the Race Course Ground.
