Mother’s Day is celebrated every year across the world to celebrate motherhood. This year the students celebrated Mother’s Day by writing handwritten letters to their mothers. Children were motivated to write letters under the Utthan project of Adani Foundation.

More than 7000 students from more than 100 schools of Mundra, Mandvi and Hazira expressed their gratitude for Matrivandana. For the last two years J. Of. The paper’s joint venture provides such inspiration and culture to the students. In the program J.K. The expressions of the children in the letters written in the kit distributed by Papers brought tears to the eyes of the patrons. Shivaniji of JK Paper said, “We wanted to give children an opportunity to show their mothers how much they love and appreciate her. Handwritten letters are a meaningful way to express feelings.”

We hope that such an initiative will bring harmony in the mother-child relationship. Utthan throughout the year endeavors to make the students understand the importance of mother in life. Various efforts are made to organize mother’s meet every month, children talking about and appreciating their mothers, reading children’s books with mothers, connecting mothers online and being more active in SMC.

Child care assistants work closely with mothers to maximize the development of children. Under the Utthan project, various activities are carried out to continue the activities of internal and mental development of the children. In this event, some students wrote about the things they liked most about their mothers, while some wrote about the sacrifices and contributions their mothers made for them. So some bowed down silently and stunned everyone.

Adani Foundation’s Utthan Project believes in building a strong and prosperous nation through quality education. To make this project successful, everyone’s guidance and cooperation has been received from teachers to government officials. Village sarpanch, school principal, parents, SMC members along with a lot have contributed in this project.

In future also, Adani Foundation will continue to try to reach out to more and more government schools and become a partner in the development of the students. As part of Adani Foundation’s Upliftment project, Yatra which started in 2018 in seven village schools in Mundra taluka is currently running in 254 primary and secondary schools.
