Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various projects worth about Rs 4,400 crore in Gujarat. On this occasion, he said that our government does not look at religion or caste while providing benefits, this is the real secularism. In nine years, we built 4 crore houses, out of which 70 percent houses were given to women.

PM Modi further said that I once again congratulate all the beneficiaries, especially those sisters who have got their permanent house today. It has been only a few months since the BJP government was formed again in Gujarat, but I am very happy to see the pace at which development has taken place.

He said that the government itself is going to the beneficiaries of the scheme. This approach has ended corruption and discrimination on a large scale. To reach the beneficiaries, our government does not look at caste or religion because I think that where there is no discrimination, there is true secularism.
