All India Eye Society has awarded Jharkhand Eye Society with the title of Best Eye Society. This very special trophy was awarded to Jharkhand Eye Society for scientific and educational activities. Jharkhand Eye Society Dr. Bharati Kashyap, Managing Committee Member cum Chairperson, Scientific Committee, received the award at the Lulu Bolgatti International Convention Center in Kochi, Kerala.

Jharkhand Eye Society was awarded the National Award for Best State Society at the inaugural function of the 80th Annual Conference held at Kochi. Metroman E Sreedharan And Dr. Bharti Kashyap received the trophy from the hands of All India Eye Society President Dr. Harbansh Lal and former President Dr. Lalit Verma. Dr. Kashyap said that for this, the National President directed the management committee members from Jharkhand to conduct awareness campaign for training of post graduate students of ophthalmology, glaucoma, eye donation, cataract, diabetic retinopathy etc.
Tell doctors about new methods of eye therapy
Not only this, instructions were also given to organize a seminar in the state of Jharkhand to inform the doctors about the new methods of eye treatment. Due to the best work done in Jharkhand, Jharkhand has got the award of Best Eye Society, due to which Jharkhand has emerged fast in the field of eye medicine on the map of the country.

The institutes and eye doctors of the state who have influenced institutions across the country with their work include Kashyap Memorial Eye Hospital, Bokaro General Hospital, Gandhinagar Hospital, CCL and Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Ranchi. Dr. ND Mishra, Dr. Pinky Pal, Dr. Rashi Shyam, Dr. Vivek Kedia, Dr. Vinay Gupta have done commendable work.
