Justice Abhijit Ganguly of the Calcutta High Court has ordered the cancellation of 36,000 recruitments of the primary panel for the year 2016. Allegations of corruption were made on a large scale in the interview. The interviewers testified that even an aptitude test was not taken in the recruitment test.

In this case, it has been clarified by the Calcutta High Court that the recruitment should be done through the recently conducted TET exam. A large number of these teachers working as para teachers will currently work on the salary of para teachers for four months.
