Noida: Authority becomes strict regarding flat buyers, action will be taken against builders if registry is not done soon

Noida : Due to the negligence of the builders in Greater Noida, UP, the buyers of about 4000 flats of 20 builder projects are forced to wander. The flats of the project are not being registered in the name of these buyers. While the dues of the Authority have been paid by the builders in lieu of these flats. Approval has also been given by the authority for the registry of these flats, yet due to lack of registry, the buyers are deprived of the ownership rights of these flats.

The camp was organized in the authority’s office

On the instructions of Authority’s CEO Ritu Maheshwari, a continuous camp was also organized in the authority’s office for the registry of these flats. Despite this, many builders did not take any interest in the registry of flats. Due to this, now the authority has also published project-wise public information to inform the buyers, as well as uploaded it on the website. The Authority has warned these builders that if the names of the buyers of these flats are not registered soon, action will be taken against them as per the terms of the allotment or lease deed and the provisions of RERA.

The authority became strict on the negligence of the builders

Soumya Srivastava, OSD, Greater Noida Authority said that at present permission has been given by the Greater Noida Authority for 4000 flats of about 20 builder projects, building and tower wise completion certificate and sublease deed or registry, but builder buyers Names are not being registered, whereas keeping in view the convenience of the buyers, on the initiative of CEO Ritu Maheshwari, regular camps are also being organized for registry in the authority office premises.

In order to provide information about these flats to the buyers, project-wise public information has also been published by the Greater Noida Authority. Along with this, it has also been uploaded on the website. On behalf of the authority, these builders have been warned that if the names of the buyers of these flats are not registered soon, then action will be taken against them as per the terms of allotment and lease deed and the provisions of RERA.

Every effort is being made to give rights to the buyers – CEO Ritu Maheshwari

Authority’s CEO Ritu Maheshwari says that the Authority is making every possible effort to get the buyers their rights. He has also appealed to the buyers that if they have flats in the projects for which completion certificate and registration have been done, then try to pressurize the builder to get it registered immediately.
