Political News: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar (Nitish Kumar) has now embarked on a state tour for Mission 2024, where he is meeting leaders of opposition parties. Nitish Kumar is trying to unite all the opposition parties with the aim of keeping the BJP away from power in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024. JDU has authorized him to unite the opposition parties and bring all the veteran leaders together on one platform and keep the BJP out of power. When the round of meetings started..

First of all, last year in 2022, Nitish Kumar started these meetings. On 31 August 2022, Nitish Kumar appointed Telangana CM K.K. Had met Chandrasekhar Rao. The Telangana CM had agreed on the consent to oust the central government from power. After that, in the very next month, in September 2022, Nitish Kumar visited Delhi and met veteran leaders like Sharad Yadav, Arvind Kejriwal, D Raja, Sitaram Yechury, Akhilesh Yadav etc. in Delhi. All of them had agreed in principle on the matter of opposition unity of Nitish Kumar.

No travel for almost 6 months.

After September, the phase of meetings remained cold for about 6 months. In the new year 2023, Nitish Kumar became active once again and on 12 April 2023 he met Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi talked about fighting together for India. Nitish Kumar also met Arvind Kejriwal on 12th April itself. Along with Kejriwal gave the message to change the government.

Mamta met Akhilesh..

On 24 April 2023, Nitish Kumar met West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav. Mamta Banerjee said that I want to see BJP at zero. And on May 7, 2023, Nitish Kumar spoke to Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray.

Odisha-Jharkhand CM, also met Sharad-Uddhav

Nitish Kumar After that, on May 9, Nitish Kumar met Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik in Bhubaneswar. He described the meeting with Patnaik as non-political. Nitish Kumar then met Hemant Soren, CM of neighboring Jharkhand. He has got Soren’s support firmly. After that, CM Nitish went to Mumbai on May 11, where he met Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray and NCP chief Sharad Pawar. Both the leaders gave in-principle consent to the effort to unite the opposition.
