Surat: Career Guidance Festival organized by the Chamber for Board students

Under the initiative of South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SGCCI) guidance program for students after class 12th to make their career in the right direction from 8th May to 16th May, 2023 at 4:00 PM at Samruddhi, Nanpura, Surat was organized. On Wednesday, May 8, professors from various colleges of the Public University, run by the Public Education Society, informed the students about the invaluable opportunities for career growth.

Chamber’s elected president Ramesh Vaghasia said that sometimes there can be confusion about choosing a career but under the guidance of our predecessors and experienced persons, we can find the right direction. Today’s era is really an era of competition. How to plan your career in time and how to move ahead is the demand of today’s time. It is not enough where we live, but it is also necessary to know about our area, city, state, country, world. He told the students that there is no substitute for hard work. Whatever field you choose, put your soul into it, develop whatever skills you don’t have for that field, and success is within reach.

Public university professors were present to guide the students     <p> </p>  <p>Professor Dr. Riddish Joshi, Dr. Roshni Singh, Sumit G.Dhwani, Assistant Professor Dr. Anjana Ghelani, Dr. Charmi Patel, Assistant Professor Girish Solanki, Placement Head Shabbir Ghariyali, Assistant Professor Vishal K.  Mashruwala and Prof. Tejas C. Patel guided the students to make career in various fields.</p>  <p>Professors told that after class 12 students can do four year BBA (Hons) program.  In which students can make their career in General Management, Finance, Marketing and Human Resource Management.  After graduation, students can make a career by doing MBA.  Most of the youth in Surat are joining their family business while doing MBA.  A successful student can go into the family business, work in other companies and become an entrepreneur as well.  That is, after doing MBA, students can choose any option.</p>  <p>MBA  Students can make their career bright by working in Finance, Marketing and Human Resources.  There is also a misconception among students and parents that after doing MBA in Pune, Mumbai and Bangalore colleges only good package is available, but if Surat companies want employees, then companies come for placement in Surat colleges. Professors said.</p>  <p>Students can do Masters in Biotechnology, Chemistry, Information Technology, Laboratory Technology, Computer Science and Environmental Science by doing Bachelor of Science after 12th.  Apart from this, 12th class students interested in art and creativity can pursue a career in Architect Design, Fine Arts, Interior Designing, Visual Artist and Urban Designing.</p>  <p>Chamber's group president Nikhil Madrasi conducted the program and thanked everyone by explaining the outline of the program.  The above professors answered various questions of the students and parents and then the program came to an end.</p>
