Director Mani Ratnam’s film ‘Ponniyin Selvan-2’ has so far crossed the worldwide mark of 300 crores in terms of earnings. Now this historical film will soon be released on OTT platforms. The first episode of this film is already available on OTT.
‘Ponniyin Selvan-2’ will release on June 28 on the OTT platform Amazon Prime. According to the reports, the makers have been given a hefty amount for the OTT release. PS-1 is already available in Hindi on Amazon Prime. ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ is a period drama film adapted from the popular literary novel of the same name by Kalki Krishnamurthy. The first part of the film grossed over 500 crores at the worldwide box office. The film stars Chiyaan Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Trisha and Jayam Ravi in lead roles. Aishwarya Lakshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Vikram Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Parthivan and Prabhu are in supporting roles.
