Gujarat: Demand for probe against dummy schools for low results in Class 12 Science

0

Class 12th Science result has been declared in Gujarat. This year result is less than last year. It is believed that the reason for this decline in results is that students preparing for medical and engineering entrance exams spend more time in coaching classes than in school. Gujarat Board members have written a letter to the Chief Minister to investigate the dummy schools running in the state. In this letter, the board members have demanded the government to investigate the schools where students get admission in dummy schools.

Board results affected due to dummy schools

Gujarat Board members Priyavdan Korat and Dhiren Vyas have written to the Chief Minister saying that after class 10, students take admission in coaching classes to prepare for entrance exams for admission to studies like medical and engineering. They go to coaching classes instead of school. Only dummy students are given admission in the school. Because of such students and schools, the results of the board have been affected. In dummy school, students get admission only on paper.

Such schools should be investigated and action taken

Apart from this, teachers also exist only on paper. When the board paper verification takes place, the teachers of the dummy school remain absent by making excuses. Dummy schools have a negative impact on board results, so the government should investigate such schools and take action. If the government does not take action, then the children of Gujarat may suffer a lot in the coming times.
