A 45-year-old man named Inderjit Singh, who was passing by, suffered severe burn injuries in the blast after a GEB transformer exploded near Ambaji Dining in Pandesara GIDC, Surat. When the transformer exploded, oil from the transformer fell on him and his body caught fire. And running with fire reached Ambaji Mill. In this incident of transformer explosion, Indrajit Singh, who was seriously burnt, was immediately taken to a nearby private hospital by the mill manager in his car. While going back to the mill, he got scorched due to a sudden explosion in the DP of the transformer installed outside the mill.
