Doha Bank, the most awarded commercial bank in Qatar, recently announced the winner of the country’s largest cash prize of QR 2.5 million during a ceremony held at the Oasis stand in Mall of Qatar. The Qatari comedian and social influencer, Mr. Hamad Al Ammari, supervised the presentation of the paragraphs of this celebration, during which several events and entertainment activities were organized and prizes were distributed to the participants in the presence of Doha Bank officials.
Ms. Naima Saeed Jaber won the grand prize of QR 2.5 million, while Ms. Aisha Adel, Ms. Uzma Ali and Mr. Samir Patan each won the monthly Al Danah prize of QR 50,000 each. In addition, 14 cash prizes of QR10,000 were distributed to a number of customer categories, including young savers, ladies and senior customers participating in the Al Dana programme. An additional 56 customers also won the daily Al Danah prize of QR 5,000 each.
With this draw, another successful year of the unique Al Dana savings program from Doha Bank was concluded by granting cash prizes worth more than 11 million Qatari riyals to more than 930 winners. Commenting on this occasion, Mr. Braik Al Marri, Head of Retail Banking Group, said: “Doha Bank congratulates all the lucky winners of the past twelve months. This year marks the nineteenth consecutive anniversary of the Al Dana savings program, which contributed to creating new millionaires and providing winning opportunities for many of the bank’s happy customers, which in turn contributed to changing their lives for the better. These customers are our testimony to the success and distinction of this programme. It also proves the effectiveness of our strategy aimed at encouraging and consolidating the concept of saving in Qatari society, and encouraging them to double their savings as quickly as possible. And after we have completed nineteen years of success, we are looking forward to a very exciting new year with many prizes and surprises in the twentieth edition of Al Dana in 2023.”
