Surat: National Conference of Nursing was organized at Veer Narmad University

National Conference on ‘Modernization, New Challenges and Innovations in Nursing Studies’ jointly organized by Government College of Nursing, Navi Civil Hospital Surat and Trained Nurses Association of India at the Convention Hall of Veer Narmad University under the chairmanship of Union Minister of State for Health Bharti Praveen Pawar. The conference was organized at Surat (Gujarat branch).

Union Minister Dr. Bharti Praveen Pawar, who was present on the occasion, said that Nursing is such an important field that provides services with humanity as a medium between doctor and patient. He praised the important contribution of the Nursing Department in the country and the world, citing the example of the excellent performance of the Nursing Department in the critical times of the global pandemic Corona. Today the demand for Indian doctors and medical services is increasing all over the world. To fulfill this, new medical institutions are being established in different states of the country. Along with this, in order to realize the concept of ‘Fit India’, it has been decided to set up 157 new medical colleges along with the same number of nursing colleges in the budget. Through which 500 seats will be increased in the nursing colleges to be built in 5 cities of Gujarat.

Dr. Parul Vadgama, Nursing pioneer Iqbal Kadiwala welcoming Union Health Minister Bharti Pawar    <p> </p>  <p>Mrs. Pawar further emphasized on the special features of the study of forensic science in the nursing department and said that better results can be achieved in the medical field by imparting knowledge of forensic science to the nurse with the help of proper training and study.  Under which post graduation course has been started in Gujarat's only Forensic Science University.</p>  <p>Member of Parliament Prabhubhai Vasava said that 100 per cent employment of the students of Government Nursing College, Surat after the course shows the excellent performance here.  Nursing staff treats patients with family spirit.  Nursing services have a unique contribution to the success of any doctor or hospital.</p>  <p>On this occasion, Dr. Pragya Dabhi, Registrar, Gujarat Nursing Council and Kailashben Solanki, Councilor, were honored by the Minister with the National Florence Nightingale President's Award for various service activities.  On this occasion, 'Golden Book of Community Health Nursing' written by Dr. Parimal Patel and Dr. Khushbu Mankadia, useful for the students for nursing studies, was released.</p>  <p>On this occasion, President of Indian Nursing Council Dr. T. Dilip Kumar, Vice Chancellor of Narmad University Dr. Kishore Singh Chavda, Faculty Dean Medicine and Syndicate member Dr. Mahendra Singh Chauhan, Vv.  Syndicate Members, Joint Dr. Parul Vadgama of IMA, Dr. Rajesh Babu of New Civil RMO, Dr. Ketan Nayak Medico Legal Studies-National Forensic Science University-Gandhinagar, Joint Secretary K.S.  Bharti, Vadodara Association President Dr. Vijaybhai Shah, Nursing Association member Kiran Domadia and a large number of nursing staff and students were present.</p>
