Profits of banks listed on the Muscat Stock Exchange increased by 26.2% in the first quarter

The net profits of the banks listed on the Muscat Stock Exchange increased in the first quarter of this year to RO 118.5 million, compared to RO 93.8 million in the same period last year, registering an increase of 26.2%.
The preliminary financial results announced by the banks on the website of the Muscat Stock Exchange indicated an increase in the profits of all banks, and the banks witnessed a growth in most of their financial indicators. RO at the end of March of 2022, recording an increase of 4%.
Bank Muscat has the highest volume of assets at RO 13 billion and 79 million, while Sohar International Bank came second with RO 4 billion and 632 million, then Bank Dhofar with assets of RO 4 billion and 621 million.
