Bharuch LCB personnel were patrolling based on the instructions received by District Superintendent of Police Dr. Leena Patil to prevent incidents of burglaries and detect crimes of theft by targeting locked houses in Bharuch district. While information was received that the person involved in the theft in Jhaghadiya police station is seen in the CCTV footage, she is passing near Pratin Chauraha of Ankleshwar.
Based on this information, the LCB had set up a post in the Pratin area, during which the informer Isam was detected, the police stopped him and interrogated him and told that he is Tejendra Singh alias Rohit Ragbir Singh Sardar, a resident of Yogeshwar Park, Bajwa, Baroda. In police interrogation, he told that in Kasak area of Bharuch, along with his maternal uncle Satwansingh Gurdassingh Sardar and his friend Jashbirsingh Jogindersingh, confessed to carrying out theft incidents at 6 places in different areas of Bharuch district. The police have taken further action by seizing valuables worth Rs 5,000 from the arrested person.
