Surat’s Sachin GIDC police did last night combing. Action was taken against 158 ​​people during the night combing which lasted for four hours. Along with the recovery of many knives, about 100 bikes, three mobile phones were stolen and two kidnapping-rape accused of UP were also arrested.

According to Sachin GIDC Police, Police Commissioner Ajay Kumar Tomar had directed to conduct a combing campaign to curb anti-social activities and crime in the city, under which yesterday ACP R.L. Mavani and PI JR. Combing night was organized by Chowdhary.

In which combing was done at the entry and exit points of Sachin GIDC and those Bengali Basti, Madhavpark Jalaramnagar, Satwala slum area. In which vehicles were checked from 6 pm to 8 pm by forming three different teams of two PSIs and 23 personnel with poles, helmets and torches. During combing 100 vehicles without number plates and bad number plates, Rambo knife and knife 6, 15 under CrPC section, 6 under prohibitory orders, 17 under MCR of history sheeter, 2 absconding accused were arrested.

Apart from this, three mobile thieves involved in three mobile theft cases registered on the basis of FIR and one accused of Uttar Pradesh, wanted for seven years in a rape-kidnapping case, have also been arrested. Apart from this, in the case of kidnapping and rape of a minor from East Sarira police station in Kaushambi district, absconding for seven years and the accused of kidnapping from Kamasin police station in Banda district were arrested.
